The SPRTA Board conducted public hearings to receive comments on the Draft Tier 1 EIS/EIR on: August 6 – 7:00 p.m. August 8 – 7:00 p.m. The Roseville public hearing was broadcast live over the City of Roseville’s Government Access Channel (COR-TV) – shown on Channel 14 on Comcast cable (available to Roseville-area subscribers) and on Channel 73 on SureWest cable (available to subscribers in the greater Sacramento region). The Roseville Government Access Channel is streamed live on the City’s web site 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The public hearing was replayed a number of times via the City’s regular rotation broadcasts. The public hearing broadcast can be viewed at the City of Roseville’s Streaming Video Center. The August 6th Yuba City public hearing was not taped. Both public hearings had similar formats. Meeting materials at both public hearings included:
Approximately 20 people attended the Yuba City hearing. Approximately 50 people attended the Roseville hearing. Continuing public input and agency coordination are keys to ensure the completion of a comprehensive planning and environmental review process. |
